Dragon 1/35 Flak 38(t) Ausf M Late Discc, part number HC-D6590, is a scale model kit depicting the late-production Flak 38(t) Ausf.M with detailed hull, fighting compartment and 2cm Flak 38 cannon.
The kit presents the upper hull, lower front armour and one-piece chassis with carefully represented surface detail. The fighting compartment includes a full interior, a gunner’s seat, a detailed driver’s seat, transmission system, firewall, radio unit and ammunition boxes. The engine compartment can be assembled with its cover open or closed, while the detailed engine and rear panel add further construction options.
The Flak 38 gun includes a slide-moulded barrel with a hollow muzzle opening, a defined gun cradle, newly tooled hand wheels and a gun sight. The cannon can be positioned at any of four elevations. Armour around the fighting compartment can also be arranged in travel or combat positions, with separate catches supplied in locked and unlocked forms. The gun shield is moulded to scale thickness, and a barrel case is included inside the compartment.
Model Features
Dragon has included detailed sprocket wheels, idlers and road wheels, along with reinforcement strips carrying bolt detail. The round base plate, engine-deck components and lower hull armour continue the vehicle’s construction detail. The rear fighting compartment armour has internal catches for securing it during travel, and the gun mount uses a special design for the flak gun.
Photo-etched parts provide the spent shell cases and mesh for the spent shell case frame. Magic Tracks are supplied with casting-number detail etched on every link, while the carefully formed interior and separately represented catches give the finished model a range of visible construction details.
