Description
The Dragon 1/35 Flakpanzer I scale model kit, part number HC-D6577, is a detailed plastic model of the German anti-aircraft vehicle with its trailer. The kit includes a 2cm gun, a lower hull, platform, suspension, engine deck and other vehicle components for assembly as a display model.
Features
The frontal armour uses slide-moulded parts, while the driver's visor can be built open or closed alongside the newly tooled instrument panel, seat and controls. The gun cradle includes defined weld seams, and the gun sight, shield, battery case and ammunition equipment are represented with moulded detail. The one-piece gun barrel has a hollow muzzle opening, and the cannon can be positioned at different elevations.
Three barrel types are provided for the standard, late and Schwebelafette versions. The side and rear armour panels can be arranged in transport or combat mode, while the trailer can be shown in transport or at-rest configuration. The large storage box and battery case can each be assembled open or closed, giving further choice in the finished presentation. An optional spent shell case frame includes a photo-etched net and pre-formed photo-etched shell case.
The chassis includes a patterned platform floor, tread-plate fenders, a round base plate, detailed transmission and a removable transmission inspection cover. The suspension features Pz.Kpfw.I Ausf.A Modified Version road wheels with separately detailed sprocket and idler components. Magic Tracks, a photo-etched exhaust cover, slide-moulded tool box, spare barrel case and detailed ammunition boxes and clips complete the vehicle components. The towing assembly is made from separate parts, and the engine room front panel and engine deck carry moulded surface detail.
