The Dragon 1/35 Vollkettenaufklaerer 38 w/7.5cm Kanone 51 L/24 (HC-D6815) recreates the reconnaissance concept developed on the Jagdpanzer 38(t) Hetzer chassis. Originating from Auto-Union’s early 1944 prototypes and later pursued by BMM with a mock-up by September 1944, this Hetzer-based scout vehicle is also known as Gert 564 Pz.Aufklwg.638/12. Notably, this subject has not previously been available as an injection plastic kit, making this release a significant addition for Second World War AFV modellers.

Engineered for accuracy, the kit features a one-piece upper hull, new armour panels, and a fully equipped fighting compartment complete with 7.5cm ammunition stowage. Fine touches include intricate weld seams, a detailed exhaust and muffler with photo-etched guard, and the 7.5cm Kanone 51 L/24 rendered with rifled barrel and correct gun sleeve. Dragon’s NEO Track system combines pre-moulded lengths with realistic upper-run sag for a convincing finish and convenient assembly.
