The real Panzer II Ausf.B was produced from December 1937 to June 1938. Weighing 8.9 tons and measuring 4.81m in length, it operated with a crew of three. Armament comprised a 20mm KwK.30 cannon paired with a 7.92mm MG34 machine gun. The Panzer II spearheaded operations during the invasion of Poland in 1939 and featured prominently in the Blitzkrieg across France and the Low Countries in 1940.
