About The M3A2 ODS Variant

• Upgraded CFV developed after the Gulf War (Operation Desert Storm).
• Real-vehicle features included a laser rangefinder, tactical navigation system, driver’s thermal imager, missile countermeasure device, and the Force XXI Battle Command Brigade and Below system.
• M3 CFV role: reconnaissance/scouting with armoured cavalry units.
• Differences from the M2 IFV include no rear firing ports and carriage of more spare TOW missiles and other ammunition.
