Feldküche - WWII German Field Kitchen with cooks

The ICM Feldküche – WWII German Field Kitchen with cooks (part number HC-ICM35618) is a highly detailed 1:35 scale plastic model set that recreates a late-type Wehrmacht field kitchen, often nicknamed the Gulaschkanone. Designed for realistic diorama scenes, it combines a finely moulded kitchen trailer with four well-detailed figures and period equipment, complete with markings.

Reflecting its real-world counterpart, the Feldküche served units in the field, from smaller detachments to larger formations, and was moved by trailer or horse-drawn carriage. Main dishes were prepared in a large, insulated kettle, with later versions adding a separate kettle for frying, and the capacity to brew up to 90 litres of coffee. Wehrmacht rations were varied, and qualified cooks—assisted by helpers who handled tasks such as peeling and chopping, fetching water, and chopping firewood—kept troops supplied with hot meals.
