FWD Type B - WWI US Ammunition Truck

ICM’s FWD Type B – WWI US Ammunition Truck in 1:35 scale faithfully recreates the American 3-ton four-wheel-drive workhorse known as the Truck, 3-ton, Model 1917. With its distinctive hoodless layout and the driver seated above the 4-cylinder, 36 hp engine, the Type B served widely with the American Expeditionary Forces in Europe, transporting artillery shells, equipment and also towing guns. Orders were placed in large numbers by the U.S. Army, with additional vehicles supplied to Great Britain and Russia. This kit represents the specialised Ordnance Department ammunition body fitted to some of these vehicles.

Designed with crisp moulding and accuracy, this plastic model kit (ICM part HC-ICM35656) provides a highly detailed build with optional presentation choices and authentic marking options from 1918 service.
