It is intended for use on model surfaces where protection from normal fuel exposure is required.
The level of fuel resistance depends on the nitro content of the fuel. Resistance diminishes as nitro content increases, so wipe away fuel as soon as possible after use to help prevent blistering and paint degradation. For normal fuel usage, no additional fuel proofer is required when the surface is cleaned after each flying session.
Before applying the coating to a finished model, test the fuel on a paint swatch and allow the result to be assessed before exposure. This helps establish how the chosen fuel interacts with the painted surface. The 250ml tin contains clear satin fuelproofer for model finishing applications.
