Description
The Heki 30901 Light Green Grassmat 75 x 100 cm, part number 5546010, is a pre-flocked scenic grass mat for model railways, dioramas, architectural models and display scenes. Its flexible backing is coated with fine static grass fibres to provide ready-made ground cover without applying loose flocking by hand. The light green surface adds a textured landscape finish across larger areas and can be used to represent grassed or planted sections of a model scene.
The mat can be cut with scissors, torn by hand or shaped around irregular terrain and curves. Cutting provides cleaner edges, while tearing creates less regular transitions between different scenic areas. Suggested applications include railway layouts, architectural models and tabletop scenery. The backing can be adhered to wood, foam or plastic using PVA glue, spray adhesive or hot glue, subject to the suitability of the chosen adhesive for the project.
