The Hobbynox Airbrush Paint Clear Coat (Cover-Coat) 60ml, part SCH-HN20010, is a water-based protective layer designed to cover Hobbynox Airbrush Colors, improving durability and helping painted surfaces withstand fuel residue on RC bodies.

Key Features

  • Water-based cover-coat for protecting Hobbynox Airbrush Colors.
  • Helps painted surfaces resist fuel residue and wear.
  • Can be used as a carrier for glitter or flake (e.g. Fasglitter from Parma Faskolor).
  • 60ml bottle.
  • Not intended as a gloss clear-coat; use only for the purpose described.

Suggested Compatibility

  • 1/8 buggy bodies.
  • 1/8 on-road car bodies.
  • Hobbynox Airbrush Colors finishes.

Application Guidance

  • Thin with Hobbynox SP Reducer/Cleaner if viscosity needs to be reduced.
  • Clean your airbrush or spray gun with Hobbynox SP Reducer/Cleaner.
  • Recommended to spray with Hobbynox FLOW-TF or FLOW-BF airbrushes using 0.5/0.8 nozzle/needle.

Hobbynox Airbrush Paint Clear Coat - 60ml


Hobbynox Cover-Coat is an water based coat that is used for covering/protecting Hobbynox Airbrush Colors to make the painted surfaces more durable and withstand more fuel residue etc. Perfect for covering the Hobbynox Airbrush Color painted 1/8 buggy- or 1/8 on-road bodies for example.
It can also be used as a "carrier" for glitter or flake (like Fasglitter from Parma Faskolor).
Use Hobbynox SP Reducer/Cleaner when/if the viscosity needs to be reduced.
Use SP Reducer/Cleaner when cleaning the airbrush or spraygun.
We recommend you to use our FLOW-TF or FLOW-BF airbrushes with 0.5/0.8 nozzle/needle to spray on the cover-coat.
Note that the Hobbynox Cover-Coat is not an clear-coat in the sence that it's sprayed on to make the painted surface glossy etc - use it only for its inteded purpose described here above.
