The officially recommended Electronic Speed Controller (ESC) for the Hobbywing Seaking 4685SL 1500Kv V2 motor is the Hobbywing Seaking 200A HV V4 or the Seaking 300A HV V4. [1, 2]
Because the 1500Kv variant of this motor is specifically rated for high-power 6S to 8S LiPo configurations, a high-voltage (HV) marine ESC is required to handle the current and voltage load without overheating.
