The Hobbywing XeRun AXE 4274SD R3 2000KV Black Sensored Motor (HW30401400) is a 42x74mm, 4‑pole brushless unit developed for 1/8th and 1/6th rock crawlers. Compared with the previous R2 version, it delivers more than twice the output power and an 11% increase in efficiency, while supporting up to 6S LiPo packs. A robust CNC‑machined housing and waterproof sensor connection provide IP67‑rated protection against water and dust.
Inside, a high‑strength alloy output shaft, enamelled wire rated to 200°C, premium bearings and ultra‑thin silicon steel sheets contribute to durability, smooth running and precise low‑speed control. A built‑in high‑precision magnetic encoder supplies accurate rotor position feedback to the ESC for confident throttle modulation on technical terrain.

Mounting Note
The AX R3 motor uses 25.4mm mounting hole spacing. For frames with 30mm spacing, an optional conversion plate (HW30850501) is recommended.

The XeRun AX R3 motor with 2000kV supports LiPo batteries up to 6S and compared to the previous R2 motor, it brings more than twice as much output power into the field while efficiency has increased by 11%. In addition to the high-quality CNC housing that protects the motor from water and dust, it is also equipped with the proven waterproof sensor connection for connecting to the controller. Furthermore there is an output shaft made of a high-strength alloy, as well as an enameled wire inside that can withstand temperatures of up to 200°C. Added to this are the premium bearings and ultra-thin silicon steel sheets.
Please Note: The mounting holes of the AX R3 motors have a hole spacing of 25.4mm. However, if the distance in your frame is 30mm, we recommend the optionally available conversion plate (HW30850501).
