The Hobbywing XeRun V10 17.5T G5 Torque Black Motor, part number HW30401764, is a sensored brushless motor for 1/10 and 1/12 stock racing. This black motor has a 17.5-turn winding and a 3000KV rating, with support for 1–3S LiPo power systems.
The V10 G5 design provides a 3.9% increase in maximum output power and more than 4% improved efficiency compared with the V10 G4R 17.5T. Its redesigned endbell exposes more of the winding to help dissipate heat, while the patented rotor cooling design helps manage operating temperatures and maintain consistent operation.
At 13g lighter than the G4R version, the G5 motor is designed to position more of its weight towards the vehicle centreline. This supports the weight and centre-of-gravity layout used in 1/10 and 1/12 stock racing applications.
The adjustable Hall timing assembly allows fine adjustment of the sensor angle, helping the motor run more smoothly and efficiently. Rotor and sensor spacing can also be adjusted through three settings, allowing the response and feel of the power delivery to be tuned.
A modular construction allows the motor to be opened for cleaning and maintenance. The motor is brushless and sensored, with a two-pole rotor and a 3.175mm shaft diameter.
