HPI Stage-D24 2024 Toyota GR Supra RC Drift Car

The HPI Racing Stage-D24 brings proper rear-wheel-drive RC drifting down to a size you can enjoy almost anywhere!

Designed from the ground up as a dedicated 1:24 scale RWD drift platform, the Stage-D24 packs the layout, adjustability and huge steering angles you'd expect from a much larger drift chassis into an incredibly compact package. This isn’t simply a small RC car fitted with drift tyres, the chassis has been developed specifically around rear-wheel-drive drifting, with a rear-mounted 3-gear transmission, spool differential, independent front suspension and T-bar rear suspension all working together to deliver the control needed to get sideways and stay there.

There’s plenty of adjustment built in too, with adjustable track width, wheelbase and steering links giving you room
to fine-tune the setup, while up to 67.5 degrees
of steering angle provides the counter-steer
needed for big drift angles and smooth
transitions. A magnetic body mounting
system keeps the exterior clean and realistic,
with no traditional body posts spoiling the
lines of the shell.

And sitting on top is an officially licensed 2024 Toyota GR Supra hardbody, available in Prominence Red or Metallic Dawn Blue. The detailed 16-piece body features clear windows and light buckets, with front and rear LED lights included to add even more realism. Optional Stage-D24 drift decal sets are also included, giving you the choice of keeping the Supra clean and factory fresh or adding a more aggressive drift-inspired look.

Best of all, the Stage-D24 arrives fully assembled and ready to drift. The integrated ESC, receiver and gyro system helps make RWD drifting more accessible, with gyro gain adjustable directly from the transmitter, while the included 7.4V 600mAh LiPo battery and USB balance charger mean you can get charged up and start practising those lines.

The Stage-D24 is topped with a highly detailed, officially licensed 2024 Toyota GR Supra replica.

Rather than a conventional lightweight polycarbonate shell, the Supra is constructed as a detailed 16-piece hardbody, complete with clear windows, separate light buckets and dedicated chassis mounting components.

The hardbody gives the Stage-D24 an impressively realistic appearance that perfectly suits its miniature scale.

No body posts sticking through that beautiful Supra body!

The Stage-D24 uses a magnetic body mounting system to securely locate the hardbody while keeping the exterior clean and realistic.

Simply locate the body onto the rear body tongue, lower it onto the chassis and the magnetic mounting system takes care of the rest. It makes removing and refitting the shell quick and easy, while ensuring everything lines up neatly every time.

The Stage-D24 brings the front end of the Toyota GR Supra to life with integrated LED headlights, adding another level of realism to the highly detailed 1:24 scale hardbody.

The lighting can be controlled directly from the TF-805 transmitter, with On, Off and Daylight Running modes available at the touch of a button. Keep the full lights on for evening drift sessions, switch to the daylight running mode for a more subtle look, or turn them off completely – all without having to touch the car.

The scale detailing continues at the rear with integrated LED tail lights, illuminating the Supra's distinctive rear light design and making the Stage-D24 look just as impressive disappearing around a corner as it does coming towards you.

Like the front lighting, the rear LEDs are integrated into the Stage-D24 electronics and controlled from the transmitter, giving you easy access to the different lighting modes while you drive.

You don't have to keep your Supra looking factory fresh! The Stage-D24 also includes additional chrome drift decal sheets, giving you the freedom to create your own unique drift-inspired scheme. Add a few subtle details or go all-in with a more aggressive custom look! It's an easy way to make your Stage-D24 stand out when you're running door-to-door with your friends.

The result is a scale Supra that looks fantastic straight out of the box, but still gives you the opportunity to put your own stamp on it.

Both track width and wheelbase are adjustable, giving you additional options when setting up your Stage-D24.

As well as allowing you to experiment with the handling and stance of the car, this adjustability opens up more possibilities for fitting different bodies and creating your own Stage-D24 builds.

Steering angle is everything when you're sideways, and the Stage-D24 delivers up to an impressive 67.5 degrees of steering angle.

Independent front suspension combines with adjustable steering links to give the front wheels the freedom needed for serious counter-steer, helping you hold bigger angles and catch the car as you transition from one corner to the next.

And with the Stage-D24's onboard gyro helping keep everything under control, even newcomers to RWD drifting can quickly get to grips with the action.

At the back of the Stage-D24 you'll find its compact 3-gear transmission, sending power directly to the rear wheels.

A spool differential keeps both rear wheels driving together, while CVD driveshafts transfer power out to the wheels.

The motor itself is mounted on a distinctive 3mm orange anodised aluminium motor plate, adding a splash of unmistakable HPI style to the chassis.

At the rear, the Stage-D24 uses a compact T-bar suspension system, allowing the rear of the chassis to flex and move while keeping the drivetrain package simple and lightweight.

The T-bar itself also offers another opportunity for chassis tuning. By experimenting with different T-bar materials and thicknesses, you can alter the amount of flex in the rear suspension and change how the car responds on track. A softer, more flexible T-bar can give the rear a different feel to a stiffer setup, allowing drivers to experiment with the balance and response of the chassis to suit their driving style and track surface.

It's a simple system with plenty of potential for future setup experimentation, exactly the kind of adjustability you want from a dedicated little drift chassis.

Controlling a rear-wheel-drive drift car at this scale would be a serious challenge without a helping hand, so the Stage-D24 comes equipped with an integrated electronic gyro.

The SRL-805 combines the ESC, gyro, receiver and LED controller into a single compact unit, saving valuable chassis space and keeping the installation neat.

Power comes from a 37T brushed MM-050 motor, while steering duties are handled by an MS-01WR 6.0V 0.85kg micro servo.

A 7.4V 360mAh LiPo battery provides the power, and a USB balance charger is included to get you charged and ready for your next session.

The Stage-D24 comes complete with the TF-805 5-channel 2.4GHz transmitter, giving you more than just steering and throttle control.

Most importantly for drifting, gyro gain can be adjusted directly from the transmitter using Channel 5, allowing you to quickly dial the level of gyro assistance up or down to suit your driving style, track conditions and experience.

The transmitter also puts the Stage-D24's lighting controls at your fingertips, allowing you to switch between On, Off and Daylight Running modes without having to stop and reach for the car.
