Built on the SS chassis platform, this 1/8 nitro buggy pairs rugged performance with a distinctive aluminium tubular roll cage that evokes full-size single-seater buggies. Despite its robust appearance, the lightweight cage hinges forward with the removal of four screws, giving quick access to the chassis and engine for easy maintenance.
Power comes from the HoBao MachStar 28 engine and a tuned pipe, driving a highly efficient drivetrain. Steering authority is delivered by quality Savox servos, while next-generation 17 mm big bore shocks, F/R anti-roll bars and 4 mm aluminium shock towers keep the handling composed over rough ground. A large 150 cc fuel tank extends run times, and the enclosed radio box plus one-piece radio tray help protect and tidy the onboard electronics. Stealth grey anodised chassis components complement the black cage for a purposeful finish. Supplied with a HoBao 2.4 GHz 3-channel radio system, the HBCB-C28B offers a compelling RTR nitro experience.
