Italeri FIAT CR.42 Falco Assault/Night Fighter

Build a classic WWII Italian biplane fighter with the Italeri FIAT CR.42 Falco Assault/Night Fighter in 1:48 scale (HC-2842). Evolving from the successful C.R.32 “Freccia”, the single-seat CR.42 combined an aluminium and steel structure with metal-and-fabric skinning and retained fixed landing gear and an open cockpit. Powered by the air‑cooled Fiat A.74 radial, the Falco reached around 400 km/h and was renowned for outstanding manoeuvrability, even if ultimately limited by its biplane configuration compared with newer monoplanes.

This Italeri release focuses on historically rich markings and official licensing. A super decal sheet provides four options, including Regia Aeronautica and German Luftwaffe schemes, developed in collaboration with Aeronautica Militare. Figure not included.
