Italeri Schnellboot S-26/S-38

The Italeri Schnellboot S-26/S-38 (HC-5625) focuses on the renowned German Kriegsmarine S-class motor torpedo boats developed between the two wars, which benefited from advances in engine technology and improved operational efficiency.

Covering the S-26 series built in 1939–1940, the design featured a forecastle integrated with two 533 mm torpedo tubes and refined bow lines that were carried forward and enhanced in later versions. The S-38 became one of the most celebrated Schnellboot variants, with almost 100 units produced. These boats were 35 metres long with a full-load displacement of over 100 tons and, powered by Daimler Benz 12‑cylinder engines, could reach a maximum speed of 39.5 knots.
