Description
J Perkins Fine Scatter Light Green (Js14), part number 5546470, is an extra-fine tarmac ballast scatter for miniature scenery, model railways, wargaming terrain and figure bases. The green scatter provides a fine-grain covering that can represent tarmac, asphalt and other small-scale ground surfaces across a wide range of modelling projects.
Use this Javis scenic material as ground cover on a model railway layout, railway embankment or wargaming board, or apply it to miniature figure bases. Its extra-fine texture can also be combined with other colours and scenic materials to create varied ground textures, blended surfaces and weathering effects. Mixing the scatter allows modellers to adjust the appearance of a scene rather than using one uniform covering throughout.
To apply it, spread PVA adhesive over the prepared surface, sprinkle the Fine Scatter over the glue and leave it to cure fully. Once the adhesive has set, brush away any loose material. This method helps the scatter remain in place while leaving a clean surface finish. As part of the Javis Model Railway scenic collection, it is suited to railway scenery as well as creative terrain and miniature projects.
