Description
J Perkins Fine Scatter Moorland (JS20), part number 5546495, is an extra-fine scenic ballast scatter for miniature modelling. This green Moorland scatter is designed to represent tarmac, asphalt and fine-grit surfaces across model railway layouts, wargaming terrain and miniature figure bases.
Use the scatter as a ground covering on its own or blend it with other colours and scenic materials to create varied ground textures and environmental effects. Its fine consistency makes it suitable for a wide range of modelling scales, allowing it to be used for detailed scenic areas, railway embankments and terrain surfaces.
Application
To apply the scatter, spread PVA adhesive across the area to be covered, then sprinkle the ballast over the glue. Leave the adhesive to cure fully before brushing away any loose material. The remaining scatter forms the surface covering on the model or scenic base.
J Perkins Fine Scatter Moorland is supplied as a 40g pack and forms part of the Javis Model Railway scenic collection. It can be used in creative projects where a fine green tarmac-style texture is required.
