Description
J Perkins Fine Scatter Rough Pasture (Js19), part number 5546490, is an extra-fine scenic scatter for miniature model-making. This green material forms part of the Javis Model Railway scenic collection and is suitable for creating ground cover across model railway layouts, wargaming terrain and miniature figure bases. Its fine tarmac-style texture can represent asphalt, ballast or other fine-grit ground surfaces, while also providing a base for more developed scenic effects.
The scatter can be used on its own or blended with other colours and scenic materials. Mixing it with different textures allows you to create varied ground surfaces, layered terrain and weathering effects for individual scenes. The extra-fine consistency also makes it suitable for adding small-scale surface detail across a range of modelling projects.
Applying the Scatter
To use J Perkins Fine Scatter Rough Pasture, spread PVA adhesive over the area to be covered, then sprinkle the scatter onto the glue. Leave the adhesive to cure fully before brushing away any loose material. This method can be used for railway scenery, wargaming boards, figure bases and other miniature scenes where a textured green surface is required.
