Kyosho Fazer D2 1:10 Chassis Kit

Drifting, or the controlled dynamic sliding of the car, has become one of the most popular categories in R/C cars. In particular, 1/10 scale EP drift cars with rear-wheel drive (RWD) are hugely popular with their dramatic counter-steering drifts. Kyosho has already introduced the FAZER D2 1/10 RWD drift chassis as a fully assembled Readyset paired with highly detailed Toyota 86 GT body. Now in response to strong demand from fans, a body-less, electronics-free chassis kit makes its debut. The FAZER D2 chassis kit shares its core design with the Readyset version but now comes equipped with select option parts as standard. These carefully chosen tuning components enhance overall performance while greatly expanding the chassis kit's setup options, straight out of the box. Another key feature is the adjustable motor position which allows precise tuning of handling characteristics. The chassis also retains FAZER D2's defining variable wheelbase system which combines with adjustable rear tread (track width) for compatibility with most 1/10 scale bodies on the market. Delivering performance on par with dedicated competition drift machines at an accessible price, the FAZER D2 chassis kit sets a new standard for RWD drifting.

Features high-mounted motor layout and long-span suspension specifically designed for RWD drifting. Compatible with a wide range of R/C batteries, from standard cylindrical packs to rectangular shorty LiPo types.

Resin main chassis features a front/rear split design. By changing the connection points, wheelbase can be adjusted from 240mm to 273mm for compatibility with a wide range of 1/10 scale bodies.

Front suspension and steering system deliver the large steering angle essential for RWD drifting. Turnbuckle-type steering rods allow precise toe adjustment, and caster angle is also adjustable.

Rear double wishbone suspension provides stable traction performance. Turnbuckle upper arms enable quick and precise camber adjustment, while the split lower arms allow track width changes.

Aluminum oil shocks which were previously optional on the FAZER D2, are now included as standard. Dial adjustable springs allow easy ride height setting and optional shock pistons are included for setup tuning.

Motor (sold separately) can be positioned either forward for balanced handling or at the rear to increase traction.

Rear axle uses a spool (solid axle) with no differential action. While the Readyset uses a resin spool cup, the chassis kit features a steel version, allowing optional gear or ball differentials to be installed without changing the universal swing shafts.

Stealth-type front and rear body mounts are standard, with no exposed posts or pins, just like the Readyset. Conventional body post and pin mounts are also included.

High-efficiency universal swing shafts are standard, designed to resist disengagement during crashes. Fully compatible with optional gear and ball differentials. *When increasing rear track width, compatible optional shafts are required.
