LGB European Steam Sound Unit

Bring your G scale layout to life with the LGB European Steam Sound Unit (HC-L65000). This compact, all-in-one module integrates the electronics, volume control and a built-in speaker in a 60 x 68 x 23 mm enclosure. For suggested compatibility, it is small enough to fit into most LGB freight and passenger cars or into the cab of many LGB locomotives.

Installation is straightforward: connect two wires to track power or to a locomotive general-purpose socket to enjoy authentic digital LGB steam sound. The unit provides a realistic steam chuff, and when used with the LGB Multi-Train System (MTS) you can remotely trigger additional sounds such as bell, whistle, brake noises and station announcements. All LGB Sound Units include a Multi-Train System sound decoder and are ready for MTS operation.
