Dining cars or service cars were also purchased to go with the famous panorama cars for the Glacier Express. Since service is basically done at one's seat in this train, this car was only equipped with a small bar and the galley, but no dining area. In recent years, these cars have been updated and converted – a window that can be opened has been installed as a new feature. Passengers can thus take photos of the magnificent mountain world – completely unaffected by panes of glass. This is a model of the service car as currently used in the modern Glacier Express. The paint scheme and lettering are the newest version and are prototypical for Era VI. The interior details are prototypical, there is interior lighting with LEDs, and the doors can be opened.
