RC Overhaul’s Magnetic Body Mount (Chevy C10) SCX24, part number G-RCO-AX038, replaces the stock velcro fixing with a tidy magnetic solution. Once fitted, it offers a secure hold on the shell while delivering a cleaner, more scale look.
Installation Overview
- Fix two magnets to the mounting platform.
- Replace the stock posts using the long bolts and nuts.
- Align and attach the matching magnets to the body using the provided bolt, or glue them in place if you prefer not to make a hole.
- Once installed, the shell holds firmly and looks much neater.

Don't like the look of the velcro body fixing, or your velcro has lost its grip, replace the body fixiing with this very neat mounting system.
Fix two of the magnets in place on the mounting platform, and replace the stock posts using the long bolts and nuts. Inline with the mount, fix the other magnets to the body either using the bolt provided or glue in place without the need of making a hole.
Once fitted gives a good hold to the shell, and looks so much better.
