Ever since its launch, thousands of new fans have started their RC hobby - Monster Truck bashing - with the Phantom XT... and its been so well received, we decided to add another platform to the family!

So now, not only can you jump, wheely, bash and blast with our XT, you can also get your first taste of the more stealthy, racey, nimble action of a racing buggy!

The new Phantom XB has enough speed to keep you on your toes, whilst being super easy to drive, in an awesome, fun package giving a great taster for the RC hobby! 

If it's action you want - The Phantom XB comes preloaded with the MM-550 Brushed electric 550 high torque motor powering a tough shaft drivetrain spinning all 4 wheels for awesome 4WD action. While the waterproof ESC, water-resistant servo and gear cover mean the fun keeps coming and water or debris won't stand in your way!

Everything you need to get your Phantom XB up and running is included in the box with a 7.2V 1800mAh Maverick Element + NiMh battery pack and super-convenient Delta-Peak USB charger! Meaning you can charge your RC car battery with virtually any mobile phone wall charger!

Why Maverick?

HPI Racing have been bringing new people into RC since 1986. But in 2007 we realised more and more people were tempted by low-cost, low quality no-name RC products. We know that every hobbyist needs to start somewhere and that if a customer enjoys a "cheap" RC product they could some day become a Savage or Vorza owner, but the problem is - if their first low-cost RC lets them down - they might give up and be done with RC for ever...and we can't have that! So Maverick was born, with a simple mission - make good quality RC accessible for all and start people on their journey the right way.
