ICM recreates one of the most recognisable vehicles of the Second World War with Monty’s Mobile Office Caravan. Based on the British Army’s Leyland Retriever chassis, the original non-standard vehicle served General Bernard Montgomery as a field office, with its interior divided into a compact bathroom and a larger office complete with storage, desk lamps and sofa. Together with two companion trucks used for sleeping and staff map work, these vehicles — collectively known as ‘Monty’s Caravan’ — accompanied Montgomery through to the end of the war.
