The OS Engines O.S. SPEED R2106 Combo Set TR03 EFRA2196 & MR05, part number SCH-OS1EY05, is a factory-tuned 3.49 cc engine developed for 1/8 on-road racing competition. It is designed to deliver a strong, controllable power character across the rev range, with revisions intended to improve torque, response and adjustment. The R2106 uses a new nine-port cylinder liner with redesigned porting for improved airflow and greater torque. Its crankshaft is taken from the R21 Euro II to support a stronger mid-range feel, while the ceramic rear bearing contributes to the engine’s low-end response.

Features

The reinforced connecting rod is designed to withstand the demanding conditions associated with on-road racing, with an “R” identification letter engraved on the rod. O.S. SPEED also gives the engine a black outer head with laser engraving. Revised needle, slide valve and metering needle settings are based on the 21M development from the R2105, helping make adjustment easier while supporting improved low-to-mid-range power delivery. The practical operating range extends from 4,000 to 45,000 rpm, making this a competition-focused powerplant for drivers who need both response and usable performance.
