The Oracover ORATRIM Roll in Pearl Blue (57) offers a fast, clean way to add durable trim and colour accents to RC model aircraft. Made from the same material as ORASTICK and designed to work alongside ORACOVER, this self-adhesive, heat-shrinkable film combines ease of application with the trusted finish model builders expect from Oracover. Supplied in a 95mm x 2,000mm roll, it is ideal for stripes, flashes and detailing.

Unlike thermo-active ORACOVER, ORATRIM is self-adhesive for quick positioning. Place the strip, tack the edges with a covering iron, then use a heat gun to shrink and a soft cloth to rub down for a smooth, bubble-free result. It is especially suitable for foam components thanks to its low activation temperature.

ORASTICK/ORATRIM share the same unique qualities as ORACOVER and can easily be applied together on the same model. The main difference is the adhesive: while the ORACOVER adhesive is thermo-active, ORASTICK/ORATRIM are self-adhesive.

This difference calls for a different application technique: being self-adhesive ORASTICK/ORATRIM can be applied much faster than ORACOVER: Position ORASTICK/ORATRIM on the part to be covered, fix the edges with the help of a hobby covering iron, then use a heat-gun to shrink the film on. Hi Is Oratrim an iron-on adhesive? It's described as 'self-adhesive' but to me that sounds like sellotapt/duck tape and that's not what I need. Many thanks.

It's self adhesive, It has a backing paper that has to be peeled off.
