Description
The OS Engines Speed R21 Euro3 Engine, part number SCH-OS1FP00, is an engine for 1/8th on-road use. It develops increased overall power output while retaining the smooth, flat power characteristics associated with the R21 Euro2.
Engine Design
The crankcase uses the R21 Euro2 design and incorporates ceramic bearings. The selected R2105 crankshaft has two 4.5 mm diameter tungsten weights, which contribute to improved throttle response. Internally, the other parts are identical to those used in the R2106.
The cylinder liner has a newly designed structure intended to provide overall balance within the engine. The piston is shared with the R2106 and receives a special treatment to improve its resistance to seizure. Together, these changes form the main internal revisions for the Euro3 version.
Cooling and Carburettor Details
The inner head has redesigned fins for improved heat management. The outer head retains the black colour used on O.S. SPEED engines and carries a newly designed laser logo.
The carburettor includes a dust cover and dust cover ring. These features are designed to help avoid fuel leakage and prevent air entering the fuel line. The stated application for this engine is 1/8th on-road use.

Crankshaft:
We have selected the R2105 crankshaft, which features two tungsten weights (4.5 mm diameter). This contributes to improved throttle response.

The cylinder liner features a newly designed structure that offers excellent overall balance. The piston is same as R2106, but it has undergone a special treatment to enhance its resistance to seizure.
Innerhead:
Innerhead features a redesigning of fin for better heat management.
Outerhead
Outerhead retain the signature black color of the O.S. SPEED with newly designed laser logo.
Carburetor:
Features the dust cover to avoid fuel leakage and air in the line with “Dust cover ring”.
Other:
Other internal parts are identical to R2106.
