The Picco P3TX Off Road Engine – Ceramic Aluminium Carburettor (PIC9696) is a competition-focused 3.49cc power unit developed for the 1/8th off-road buggy class. This latest Italian-made iteration features updated CNC machining, a long-stroke layout for strong torque delivery, and a redesigned cooling head to enhance heat dissipation and consistency over long mains.

A Swiss‑made 14mm ceramic main bearing boosts reliability and smooth running, complemented by a blue‑sealed Japanese front bearing. The combustion chamber uses an O‑ring design to help absorb vibration, while a die‑cast backplate with improved gas flow and a bevel‑edged lightweight con‑rod contribute to crisp throttle response. The die‑cast 3‑needle slide carburettor is supplied with 7.0mm and 7.5mm venturi inserts for fine tuning.
