Bandai Gunpla Plannosaurus Brachiosaurus (HC-MK67427) is a dinosaur plastic model kit that can be assembled from its skeleton outwards. The build begins with the skeletal structure, followed by the attachment of outer skin parts to create the completed dinosaur.
This Brachiosaurus represents the large sauropod from the late Jurassic period, including its high nasal cavity, chisel-shaped teeth and long forelimbs positioned higher than the waist. Its relatively short tail is also reproduced, along with the characteristic structure of the long neck. The neck features visible neural spines, overlapping bones and open spaces along the sides, reflecting the skeletal form.
Build Features
The kit uses snap assembly, so glue or cement and nippers are not required. Pre-coloured sprues help provide the main colour arrangement during construction, while the parts can also be painted for a more detailed finish. Once assembled, the neck moves smoothly, allowing the Brachiosaurus to be posed with its head raised or lowered towards the ground as though drinking or feeding.
Skeleton-based details continue through the legs, including the sharp thumb claws on the front legs and the hind legs positioned as if standing on tiptoe. These features are based on the dinosaur's underlying skeletal structure, including details that would not normally be visible from the outside.
