Description
The REDS 321 Engine set Estremo Worlds Edition 25% + 2143 OXD Pipe, part REDCOBU0041, is a 3.5 cm³ racing engine set for 1/8 buggy and truggy applications. It combines the 321 Estremo Worlds Edition engine with a 2143 XONE Worlds Edition exhaust featuring OXD surface treatment. The package is designed around consistent engine operation during demanding racing conditions, with a cooling head developed to support thermal management during high ambient temperatures and long runs.
The Worlds Edition engine uses the OS 21J carburettor with Venturi XFlow, while the DLC-coated crankshaft has two tungsten balancing weights and the AirBoost™ backplate has a DLC coating. The rear bearing is a nine-ball ceramic bearing, and the front bearing uses a high-performance seal. The supplied exhaust system uses OXD treatment to protect against wear and deterioration associated with intensive use and high operating temperatures, while supporting exhaust gas temperature management across the engine and exhaust system.
Recommended Setup
REDS recommends the 2143 XONE Worlds Edition OXD exhaust with a 6 mm Venturi for buggy use or a 7 mm Venturi for truggy use. The suggested clutch setup is the Tetra-X with four aluminium shoes and a medium setup. REDS TS3 or TS4 glow plugs are specified, with recommended fuel containing 16–30% nitro and 8–10% oil.
