The full-size Jungmeister was a single-seat, single-engine biplane of wood and tubular steel construction with fabric covering, famed for its aerobatic prowess. Seagull’s replica captures that heritage with lightweight laser-cut balsa/ply construction, expertly covered in Oracover.
Finished in the distinctive scale scheme of the restored aircraft flown by Romanian pilot Alex Panapa at the 1936 Olympics, this model comes supplied with a comprehensive hardware pack, fuel tank and wheels. A factory-painted woven fibreglass cowl and wheel covers, pre-formed wire undercarriage, steerable tailwheel, rigging wires, and a detailed cockpit with instrument panel and pilot add authentic scale touches. Assembly is straightforward, and the sprightly aerobatic performance will reward intermediate to advanced pilots. Part number 5500156.
Designed to work with popular power options and a four-channel radio with six servos, the Jungmeister offers a practical route into classic biplane aerobatics with a strong scale presence.
