A bit of history:
The FG-1D was Goodyear's licensed version of the legendary Vought F4U Corsair – one of WWII's most feared naval fighters. Its unique inverted gull wing, blistering speed and durability made it a favourite among US Navy and Marine pilots in the Pacific. The FG-1D was a late-war variant, equipped for both carrier operations and ground attack duties.
