Description
The SkyRC SKY RC ARES PRO V4 Brushless Motor MOD 13.5T, part SCH-SK-400034-16, is a 1/10 sensored brushless motor designed for competition use. It is approved by ROAR and legal for BRCA and EFRA racing, combining adjustable timing with sensor technology for controlled power delivery and precise low-speed response.
The motor features low-resistance solder tabs to reduce power loss between the wiring and motor. Its CNC-machined aluminium heatsink case includes rear venting to help dissipate heat around the Hall sensor. High-purity copper windings are rated to 220°C, while the rotor uses a balanced, heat-resistant design with 200°C neodymium magnets and an iron core for consistent operation.
Features
Adjustable timing from 0 to 60 degrees allows the motor’s response to be tailored to different track conditions. Lower timing settings provide smoother, more linear output, while higher settings support faster RPM increases and higher top speed. The advanced sensor system is intended to reduce cogging and improve throttle response through technical sections and tight corners.
Two sensor ports are positioned in different orientations to simplify wiring and provide a second connection option. The modular construction allows the housing, stator, windings and bearings to be disassembled using standard RC tools for cleaning, servicing and component replacement. The 13.5T rating is one of several turn options in the Ares Pro V4 range.
