About The T-62
Developed as the successor to the widely used T-55, the T-62 entered service with the Soviet Army in 1961. Approximately 20,000 examples were manufactured by 1975. The type saw action in multiple conflicts, including Afghanistan, the Yom Kippur War, the Gulf War, as well as in Syria and Libya.
