The Tamiya 1/35 German 5cm A.T. Gun Pak 38 (part number HC-35392) recreates the renowned WWII anti-tank gun that succeeded the 3.7cm Pak 36. First fielded from July 1940 and deployed from the Balkans in 1941 through the Eastern Front and North Africa, the Pak 38 combined a muzzle brake, aluminium alloy trail legs and a dual 4mm plate shield. Firing Panzergranate 39, it could penetrate 61mm of 60-degree armour at 500 metres. This kit captures the gun’s form and battlefield presence with crisp detail and versatile build options.
