The Tamiya M2A2 ODS IFV Bradley (HC-35264) is a detailed plastic assembly kit of the front-line vehicle used by the 3rd Armored Infantry Division during the push to Baghdad in March 2003. The kit includes extra attachments to help replicate the look and equipment fit of the real vehicle.
About the M2A2 ODS Infantry Fighting Vehicle
Production of the M2 Infantry Fighting Vehicle began in 1980. Lessons from the 1991 Gulf War led to the improved M2A2 ODS (Operation Desert Storm) variant in 1996. The ODS featured upgraded electronics including a laser rangefinder, missile countermeasure device, GPS and a digital compass antenna sensor. Following friendly fire incidents, CIP (Combat Identification Panels) were developed and fitted to the sides and rear. In March 2003, M2A2 ODS units served at the front line in Iraq.
