Tamiya THW-1060 Brushed ESC for RC Kits HC-17804097

The Tamiya THW-1060 Brushed ESC for Kits (bag), part HC-17804097, is a brushed electronic speed controller for 1/10 scale radio-controlled vehicles. It is suitable for on-road cars, off-road buggies, short-course trucks, truggies, crawlers, tanks and boats using a brushed motor.

The controller accepts either a 2S or 3S LiPo battery, with LiPo voltage protection selected using the jumper, or between five and nine NiMH or NiCd cells with the corresponding jumper setting. A Tamiya plug is fitted for connection to the battery system. The controller is intended for 540 or 550-size brushed motors. With a 2S LiPo or six-cell NiMH battery, it supports motors rated at 12 turns or more and over 30,000 RPM at 7.2V. With a 3S LiPo or nine-cell NiMH battery, the motor limit is 18 turns or more and over 20,000 RPM at 7.2V.

LiPo voltage protection provides a safety cut-off when using compatible LiPo batteries. The 6V/3A BEC supplies power for the receiver and steering servo, while the 1kHz PWM frequency controls the motor output. The controller is supplied as a bagged item and is intended for installations where its stated dimensions and power requirements are suitable.
