The ICM V3000S Einheitsfahrerhaus is a highly detailed 1:35 scale plastic model kit of the iconic 3‑ton Wehrmacht truck. Powered by a 95‑hp V8 in service, the real vehicle was built at Ford’s Cologne plant from 1941 to May 1945 and used extensively by the Army, Air Force and Navy. Later wartime adaptations introduced extra hood openings, a larger radiator and simplified components. From around 1943, the pressed‑wood single cabin, known as the Einheitsfahrerhaus, helped streamline production and saw widespread use through to the end of the war. This kit, ICM part HC-ICM35409, captures those late-war features with accuracy and crisp moulding.

Model builders can choose between different wheel fender and engine hood variants, with markings and finishes that reflect standard and camouflaged service vehicles. Decals provide tactical insignia covering grenadier, artillery and anti-aircraft units, offering historically grounded display options.

Ideal for WWII military vehicle enthusiasts, this ICM kit offers authentic late‑war detail, flexible build options and precise moulding to produce a convincing replica of the V3000S Einheitsfahrerhaus.

The V3000S belonged to a widespread part of the Wehrmacht truck fleet with a payload of 3 tons. The 95-hp V8 gasoline-powered truck was assembled at Ford’s Cologne plant in 1941 and production continued until May 1945. It was used by all branches of Germany military forces – the Army, Air Force and Navy. Cooling of the V8 engines was quite problematic, so later versions were fitted with additional hood openings and a larger radiator. Subsequently, V3000S trucks were produced with various simplifications.

Initially, in order to save sheet metal, the shape of the wheel wings was changed, and from about 1943 onwards, the so-called single cabin – ‘Einheitsfahrerhaus’ – began to be installed on them. It was made using pressed wood and made it possible to simplify and reduce production costs. Cars with such cabs were widely used in the Wehrmacht until the end of the war.
