The Volantex Spitfire Mk IX 400 RTF (part V761-12) is a compact mini warbird crafted from resilient EPP and equipped with the integrated XPilot 6-axis gyro stabiliser. Designed for park flying, it offers three assistance levels to help pilots progress from beginner to expert, plus one-key aerobatics and one-key U-turn for effortless fun.

A geared coreless motor delivers stable yet agile performance, while the 2.4GHz 4-channel radio system and propeller saver add confidence for everyday flying. Expect a control range of up to 200m and flight times of up to 10 minutes per charge, making it ideal for small fields and casual sessions.

Volantex’s new Mini Warbird range features the ubiquitous RAF classic Spitfire fighter at its head, ready for park flyers of all abilities to enjoy thanks to the integrated Xpilot gyro stabilizer system.

With a powerful gearbox and coreless motor, the plane is stable, agile and can even perform acrobatics via a single button acrobatics feature. Simply press one button and pull the stick to easily control the Spitfire and perform acrobatics.

Three Level Flight Control Assistant (Beginner Full Assist / Intermediate Part Assist/ Manual Control Expert) helps beginners learn to fly step by step. A flying range of up to 200m makes this perfect for most fields and parks with flying time from one charge up to 10 minutes.

Bought one of your VOLANTEX SPITFIRE 4CH 400MM BRUSHED w/GYRO EPP RTF kits for grandson. If no charger included, what do I need to buy? Is battery removed to charge, or is there a socket like a mobile has?

This is ready to fly so has a USB charger in the box, so you can plug this in to a PC or Laptop or a USB plug for a phone yes.
