Zvezda Vostok-1 Space Rocket Model Kit HC-Z7501

The Zvezda Vostok-1 (HC-Z7501) is a 1:144 scale rocket model kit depicting the spacecraft launched with Yuri Alekseyevich Gagarin on board in 1961. The completed model measures 45.7 cm in length and represents the rocket developed from the military R-7 missile by Sergei Pavlovich Korolev during the 1950s.

The Vostok rocket gained a third stage, enabling it to place manned spacecraft, satellites and the Luna interplanetary station into orbit. Its most notable launch carried the Vostok-1 spacecraft into Earth orbit on 12 April 1961, making Gagarin the first person to fly in space. This kit recreates that launch vehicle and includes the manned spacecraft module as part of the model.

Kit Features

With 214 parts, the kit provides the components needed to assemble a detailed scale representation of the Vostok-1 rocket. The 1:144 scale gives the finished model a substantial 45.7 cm length, while the supplied stand allows it to be displayed after assembly. A decal sheet is also included for finishing the model.
