XFly Tasman Bush/Trainer 1500mm

Absolutely beautiful plane, and what you get for the money is outstanding. The colour scheme is really nice and the quality of the parts is really good. The foam is very firm and well moulded. Assembly is minimal to get it flying, literally three screws for the undercarriage, two for the horizontal stab, one for the spinner and two for each wing. The only thing that's a bit of a pain is the way the wings are mounted, there's two small screws on each wing that could easily be lost at the flying site, and you only get one spare screw. At 1.5 metre span it could have been a one piece wing top mounted but hey, for the money it's still impressive. The wheels come partially inflated and come with an adapter to fill them, though I'd recommend leaving them as it taxis, takes off and lands beautifully as they are with a little more shock absorption form the soft tyres. Flight wise, it runs on rails, impressively stable flight characteristics, the huge elevator means it can loop at slow speeds where we expected it to stall, it just continued to loop over!! It has flaps, tho the lift you get from the huge wing surface it really doesn't need them (though it's a nice touch). The large battery hatch is a really nice touch, there's so much room inside it and there's no messing about trying to fit a battery. CG is spot on with the 2200 4s lipo with no adjustment needed and the power out of this thing is really good, literally left the ground right away without any elevator needed. I'll be buying another as a backup, and the people I was flying with today all said they're getting one now! Wing tip nav lights are a nice touch and are super bright. One small negative that's just me being a bit picky was the small amount of hangar rash from the factory, would have been nice to open a pristine plane, but it is only minimal. Wheelspin Models outdid themselves with the delivery coming much sooner than expected, it was well packaged and couldn't ask for better service. I've used them for planes and parts after my local shop closed its doors and really have nothing negative or even neutral to say, the staff are all super friendly and all know their stuff. Prices are competitive and even stuff they have on shadow stock at a warehouse come pretty quickly. 10/10 for Wheelspin Models 9/10 for the Xfly Tasman (due to the wing mounting system)
