Description

XFly X1200 VTOL Fixed Wing FPV with Gyro + GPS + Airspeed Sensor, part number XFW005PG, is a VTOL fixed-wing model aircraft for entry-level FPV flying. It combines vertical take-off and landing with a pusher fixed-wing layout for forward flight, while the integrated gyro, GPS and airspeed sensor support the aircraft's VTOL system.

The airframe uses EPP foam reinforced with composite materials and engineering plastics. Its modular, glue-free design is intended for quick assembly, with the complete model able to be deployed in under two minutes. The main wing and tail use locking mechanisms for attachment and removal, while the forward rotor arms fold to reduce the aircraft's size during storage and transport.

A four-rotor VTOL power system provides vertical lift, with a separate fixed-wing motor used for forward flight. The battery bay is sized for a suggested 6S 10000mAh (21700) battery and includes mounting points for FPV video transmitter and camera equipment. This allows the model to be configured with commonly used FPV components, although those components are not included in the supplied specification.

Features

The X1200 uses a 4+1 VTOL arrangement, with four rotor systems for take-off and landing and one pusher motor for fixed-wing flight. Four 9g metal servos operate the control surfaces. The foldable rotor arms, locking wing and tail assemblies, and glue-free construction are designed to simplify preparation and transport. The airframe also provides capacity for up to 300g of additional load.

Before flying outdoors in the UK, check the current Civil Aviation Authority requirements for drones and model aircraft. Depending on the aircraft's weight, class and whether a camera is fitted, a Flyer ID and Operator ID may be required. Safe and lawful operation remains the pilot's responsibility.

XFLY X1200 VTOL FIXED WING FPV PLANE WITH GYRO,GPS,AIRSPEED SENSOR

The X1200 is a vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) fixed-wing model aircraft designed by Skyward Studio specifically for entry-level FPV enthusiasts who are just getting into VTOL flying, and is manufactured by XFLY-MODEL. Built with durable and wear-resistant EPP foam reinforced with composite materials and engineering plastics, the airframe achieves an excellent balance of lightweight construction and structural integrity, with a premium fit and finish throughout.

The aircraft features a modular, glue-free quick-assembly design that allows for full deployment in under two minutes. It utilises the most proven 4+1 VTOL configuration, with four rotor power systems delivering ample thrust during vertical takeoff and landing phases. The forward rotor arms are designed to fold, which makes the aircraft much more compact for storage and easier to transport. The fixed-wing propulsion adopts a pusher layout for superior cruise efficiency. Both the main wing and tail assembly are equipped with newly designed locking mechanisms that ensure a secure fit while enabling rapid attachment and detachment. The spacious battery bay accommodates a variety of 6S battery packs to suit different endurance requirements, and the battery hatch comes with designated mounting points for video transmitter and camera units, making it compatible with mainstream systems.

  • Durable yet lightweight construction.
  • Glue-free modular assembly.
  • Proven 4+1 VTOL configuration.
  • Foldable forward rotor arms.
  • Quick-release locking mechanisms.

Safe flying is YOUR responsibility.

Update 01/01/26: The laws have changed regarding operating drones and model aircraft in the UK.

What you need to do:
You must take a theory test and register with the CAA before flying most drones or model aircraft outdoors in the UK.
There are two requirements and you may need to meet both:

  • Pass a theory test to get a Flyer ID.

This makes sure you know how to fly safely and legally.

  • Register with the CAA for an Operator ID.

This registers you as someone who is responsible for a drone or model aircraft.
Most people get their Flyer ID and Operator ID at the same time.

It is against the law to fly a drone or model aircraft without having the required IDs.
You can also be fined for breaking the law when flying. In the most serious cases, you could be sent to prison.

The requirements are based on the weight or class of your drone or model aircraft.
