The Ilyushin IL-2 is one of the best known Soviet ground attack aircraft of WWII. Over 36,000 examples were built, and its heavy armour earned the nickname “Flying Tank”. The double-seater introduced in 1943, known as the IL-2M, is captured here in Zvesda’s detailed Mod 1943 kit.
