About The Aircraft

Work on the fifth-generation multipurpose fighter began in the late 1970s, guided by the so‑called "three S" formula: supersonic cruising speed, super manoeuvrability and secrecy. The first prototype was unveiled to the public in 1999, with the maiden test flight taking place on 29 February 2000.
