Zvezda Battleship Oriol Model Kit 1/350 HC-Z9029

The Zvezda Battleship Oriol Scale 1/350 model kit, part number HC-Z9029, represents the Russian battleship Oriol in a 1/350 scale format. The kit consists of 356 parts and produces a model measuring 34.5 cm in length. The subject is drawn from early twentieth-century naval history and offers a detailed model kit representation of a notable Russian battleship.

At the start of the 20th century, Oriol carried an armament of four 305 mm guns, twelve 152 mm guns and more than forty guns in 47–75 mm calibres. During preparation for the Far East campaign, the ship was equipped with optical sights for its 75–305 mm guns, rangefinders and wireless telegraphy stations. These features reflect the equipment fitted to the battleship before its deployment with the Russian fleet.

On 14 May 1905, Oriol took part in the Tsushima naval battle against the Japanese fleet as part of the Russian 2nd Pacific Squadron. The finished model’s 34.5 cm length presents this historic warship in a compact display scale while retaining the subject’s naval identity. The 356-piece format provides the components for assembling the 1/350 scale representation.
