Description
The Zvezda Soviet Tank T-70 (part number HC-Z3631) represents the USSR’s light tank developed in 1942–43 as the successor to the T-60. Produced in large numbers—over 8,000 vehicles—the T-70 remained in Red Army service throughout the Second World War.
The kit depicts the improved T-70B variant, which featured enhanced running gear and a modified exhaust system. The original vehicle was armed with a 45 mm gun and a co-axial 7.62 mm machine gun. Despite relatively thin armour of approximately 20–45 mm, the T-70 served alongside other Soviet armour types during the conflict.
