Italeri McDonnell Douglas F-15E Strike Eagle

The McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle was conceived in the 1970s as a high-performance fighter for the United States Air Force. Its robust aerodynamics and twin-tail layout evolved into the two-seat, all‑weather F-15E Strike Eagle fighter-bomber, entering USAF service in the late 1980s as the F-111’s replacement for ground attack, bombing and interdiction roles.

Operational Background
