Dragon’s 1/35 M113 ACAV w/106mm Recoilless Rifle (part number HC-D3575) captures a Vietnam War configuration of the ubiquitous M113 APC fitted with the Armoured Cavalry Assault Vehicle kit and an M40 106mm recoilless rifle. Based on Dragon’s existing M113 tooling, this edition adds protective gun shields and substantial firepower, accurately rendered with modern manufacturing and fine detailing.

Precision is enhanced with 3D-printed components for true-to-scale thickness and photo-etched parts for the front gun shields. Inside and out, details are comprehensively represented, including a fully rendered driver’s compartment, troop-compartment fuel tank, crisp upper-hull and hull-bottom detail, and carefully reproduced lighting and antenna fittings. The weapons suite features realistic 0.50-cal and M60 machine guns and a highly detailed M40 recoilless rifle, while optional positions for the trim vane and plentiful stowage help convey an in-theatre appearance. Conveniently moulded track runs with authentic sag and individual track pads round out an engaging build for AFV and Vietnam-era armour enthusiasts.
